The Atomic Vantage 90 CTI Skis carve like a high performance race ski and float down powder like a freeride ski. At 90mm underfoot, the Vantage 90 CTI is clearly an all-mountain-first-and-powder-second ski. To keep these skis nimble and playful, Atomic used its All Mountain Profile, which features a rockered tip and raised tail for flotation and easy turning, plus camber underfoot that provides plenty of edge bite and stability at speed, and taper towards the tips and tails provide a smooth, hook-free, and surprisingly playful feel in soft snow.
Atomic beefed up the lively poplar and ash Power Woodcore with a Titanium Backbone 2.0 laminate, a superlight and highly damp layer that gives the ski a smooth, powerful feel, and added Carbon Tank Mesh in the tips and tails, which gives the Vantage increased torsional stiffness without adding additional weight to the ski. Atomic's Firewall Sidewalls employ extra-thick sidewall blocks to direct energy into the edges and reduce chatter, so you can rip down firm snow and choppy chunder with ease. To keep these skis ripping, Atomic added its legendary sintered race base and also used steel edges to bite into ice and keep you from skidding out your turns. The sintered base rips, and Atomic's burly steel edges bite into hardpack like a hungry security guard into a glazed cruller, so you won't wash out or feel like you're skidding turns, at least until you want to. If you are going to charge around every part of the resort this winter, the Atomic Vantage 90 CTI is your ticket to ride.
