The Dalbello Panterra 130 ID Ski Boots are a hard charging boot that features a hike/ski mode. Featuring a stiff 130 flex, the Pantera 130 was specifically designed to ski big lines at high speed. The Panterra uses Dalbello's legendary Cabrio three-piece design and Contour 4 shell fit, both of which are designed to provide maximum adjustability and comfort without the need for lots of grinding, punching, or boot work. The Split Fit tongue makes it easy and comfortable to slide your boots on and off, even with their burly flex, and the I.D. Max heat-moldable liner provides fully customizable comfort, warmth, and a precision fit. At the toe, the Variable Volume Fit buckle lets you select between three last widths—100, 101, and 102mm.
The Panterra 130 has a center-balanced Rocker stance that's designed to help you stay balanced on wider, bigger skis. The Panterra also sports the famous Dynalink Rearfoot Retention buckle, which pulls your heel into the pocket for secure heel hold. To help further customize this boot, the Panterra also includes adjustable flex, lean, heel inclination, and canting, so you can dial the boot in to your exact specs without spending hours, and stacks of cash, at the bootfitter. If you are planning on hiking to find those hidden powder stashes, the Panterra has a Hike/Ski cuff mechanism that lets you unlock the cuff from the shell for better ankle flexion and easier hiking.
Flex: 130 – Stiff performance flex, this adjustable flex is the perfect compromise between all mountain mobility and big mountain control.
Last: 100 - 102 mm – Dalbello's VVF technology gives this boot an adjustable forefoot last that can vary from 100 mm to 102 mm simply by closing the front buckle in a different notch.
Variable Volume Fit (VVF) System – This exclusive Dalbello technology was developed to permit skiers to regulate overall forefoot width from 100 mm to 102 mm using the toe buckle. Dalbello advises you to "set it and forget it" - once your width has been set, Panterra models may be skied, put on, and taken off with the remaining 3 buckles.
Contour 4 – Contour 4 Technology is a revolutionary technological advance in performance ski boot fitting. The anatomical contours of the inside sidewalls of the boot-shell, as well as the innerboot lasts, are precisely “mapped” to the shape of the typical high performance skier’s foot. A little extra “space” is molded into the inside of the boot shell at 4 critical fit points: ankle, heel, 5th metatarsal, and navicular. Contour 4 represents the first level of Dalbello's My Fit System.
3 Piece Architecture – Dalbello’s critically acclaimed, 3 Piece Cabrio Design architecture has been the cornerstone of their top performance, all mountain and freestyle models for more than a decade. This unique construction combines a 3 piece construction assembly - shell/cuff/tongue – that comfortably secures the foot and lower leg while optimizing smooth and progressive flexibility. Dalbello’s Cabrio models provide the ultimate in responsive performance to ski your best. Accept no imitations.
Rubber Clad Hike Sole – Interchangeable, replaceable, Hi Grip Rubber compound toes & heels improve grip and traction on snow, ice, and rock. High density rubber center arch clad provides additional stability and security while walking and climbing.
Ski/Hike Mechanism – Lightweight and compact advanced “Hike/Ski” control combines extended range of hiking/walking motion (Hike-mode), with solid, sensitive, and powerful ski control (Ski-mode). Feature enhanced with 2 Position Flex Control.
