Line Sir Francis Bacon Skis

Size Guide
Ski Size Chart

Picking the right ski size depends on your skiing ability, style of skiing, and height/weight.  For example, a park skier would choose a totally different size of ski than a powder skier.  So take a look at our ski size chart to find your perfect fit.

The Line Sir Francis Bacon Skis have defined all-mountain freesking for years.  The versatile 104mm waist width with Early Rise Tip and Tail Rocker can float down powder, bust through crud, rip carving arcs down groomers, and hit any feature on the mountain.  Eric Pollard designed the Bacon Skis with Line's intuitive 5-Cut Geometry™ and Early Taper™ that work together to blend 5 different sized sidecut radius into one and tapers that sidecut early in the tip and tail to reduce annoying hook ups in powder.  The Bacon Skis feature the Partly Cloudy Core that blends lightweight wood creating the best strength-to-weight ratio in Line's offerings.  When your speed picks up, the full sidewall construction provides powerful edge hold and the longer active edge makes for smooth, predictable performance. The Bacon Skis have Symmetric Flex™ that keeps the same flex pattern in front and behind your boot to make riding forward or switch easy.  No matter where you go on the mountain, the Line Sir Francis Bacon will keep a smile on your face!

Early Rise™ – The rise of the tip and tail begin earlier as the ski profile moves away from center, making for easier turn initiation and helping to get the skis up on plane more quickly. This also means effortless float in softer snow.

Symmetric Flex™ – The same flex pattern in front and behind your boot conforms to terrain equally riding forward and backwards.

5-Cut™ – 5 different sized sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes.

Early Taper™ – The widest part of the sidecut begins tapering earlier in the tip and tail which reduces tail hook ups in powder.

Thin Tip™ – Super thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.

Partly Cloudy – A blend of lightweight wood creating the best strength-to-weight ratio in Line's offerings.

Sidewall – Ultra high density polyethylene walls over the edges absorb vibrations for maximum durability for a smooth, stable feel.
